Loved the place

Es una construction muy vieja, el personal mas o menos no se si porque llegamos en una temporada muy alta y nos encontramos con unas convenciones y hubo mucha disorganization, nos dijeron habitaciones ya ocupadas , reserve para dos camas y me dijeron solo una, y nadie se ocupo en que se resolviera, es lo que hay y ya, buffet muy pequen̈o para tantas personas, muchos empleados muy aburridos, y molesto, atención pobre en el comedor, entre otras cosas, shoes muy tarde en la noche, poca variedad de comida

Great place. Very peaceful and beautiful

I am rating my overall experience a 3, maybe 3.5? Starting with the positives, the property was very well kept, the staff was friendly and as helpful as possible given the language barrier at times (not a complaint). La Ramona is in a quiet area of DR. Now as far as the food situation, the food I had was just meh nothing fancy or mind blowing just average. The restaurants are only open during certain windows of time (room service 24hrs) and all but one? Restaurant for dinner requires reservations. To be fair this was listed on the website, however I was experiencing issues trying to do the online check in in order to make reservations in advance. When we arrived everything was booked and only got reservations for 1 night. For the room… room was spacious and clean, biggest complaint was the bed! It was horrible and had a huge dip! We went to front desk but nothing was done unfortunately so we had to make do and leave with sore backs. The room also didn’t have extra outlets or charging ports. The area is kinda on the outskirts so if you are looking to leave the resort outside of doing an excursion where transportation is included be prepared to pay for uber/taxi. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway with just enough to do without having to go far/anywhere then I would say it’s worth a stay!

An der angegebenen Adresse existiert überhaupt kein Hotel. Mir wurde am Anreisetag mitgeteilt, dass das Hotel angeblich geschlossen sei und ich woanders untergebracht werde. Das andere Hotel ist in Ordnung jedoch weiß das Personal nicht gut Bescheid und es kostet viel Zeit und Nerven vor Ort zu klären, dass man eigentlich woanders reserviert und schon bezahlt hat. Wirkt insgesamt alles etwas verdächtig.
